HOWTO-1505: Printing Workflow Configuration

There is no built-in way to create a print-out of PlanetPress Workflow process or complete configuration. If you need to do this however, there is a solution that requires the use of a specific PlanetPress Design document.

Using the Document

The workflow printing document uses the XML emulation to open the PlanetPress Workflow configuration file (.pw5, .pw6 and .pw7) and reads it to output a printer-friendly version of the workflow.

  • Open the document with PlanetPress Design.
  • Open the dialog to open a sample data file.
  • Browse to the location of the PlanetPress Workflow configuration you want to print. To use the current configuration you can browse to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Objectif Lune\PlanetPress Suite 7\PlanetPress Watch\ and open ppwatch.cfg.
  • Either do a File -> Preview to see the output before printing, or do a File -> Print to directly print the output. Make sure to select All Page as a page range, or the output will not be complete.
