Imposition Options

The imposition options page sets the repetition, order, imposition, margins and marks for imposition in the output.

  • Sheet Size group:
    • Final Media Size: Use the drop-down to select the size of the media where the output is printed. The size of the media should be equivalent to the initial section size multiplied by the number of repetitions, added with the margins and spaces between the repetitions.
    • Width: If a Custom final media size is selected, enter the custom width for the page size.
    • Height: If a Custom final media size is selected, enter the custom height for the page size.
    • Scale to fit: Modify the size of each repetition to fit within the final media size.
    • Rotate document 180 degrees: Click to rotate pages within the output. [TBD]
  • Repetition group:
    • Horizontal: Enter the sections that should be placed horizontally, or use the arrows to increment or decrement. This is the total number of items, not the number of additional items to place.
    • Vertical: Enter the sections that should be placed vertically, or use the arrows to increment or decrement. This is the total number of items, not the number of additional items to place.
  • Space Between group:
    • Horizontal: Enter the space to add between each horizontal repetition.
    • Vertical: Enter the space to add between each vertical repetition.
  • Order group:
    • Page Order: Select in which direction to go when adding sections to the output:
      • Left to right, then top to bottom
      • Right to left, then top to bottom
      • Top to bottom, then left to right
      • Top to bottom, then right to left
    • Duplex: [TBD]
    • Stack Depth: Enter a stack depth or use the arrows to increment or decrement.
    • Reverse Pages: [TBD]
  • Bleed Margins group:
    • Top, Bottom, Left, Right: Enter the bleed margins for each side of the page.
  • CropMarks group:
    • Type: Use the drop-down to select the type of crop marks to add to the page.
    • Offset: [TBD]
    • Width: Enter the width of the crop marks, or use the drop-down to select a predefined width.
    • Length: Enter a value for the length of the crop marks.
