A data sample is a copy (complete or partial) of a data file or database. It is used as an example to create a data mapping configuration for this type of data source. The first sample is the one that you use to create a new data mapping configuration (see Creating a new data mapping configuration. More samples can be added via the Settings pane; see Data samples.
