Send to Server dialog
The Send to Server dialog sends selected templates, data mapping configurations and Print Presets to the PReS Connect Server or to another server of your choice.
-
Configurations: Initially this list contains the Connect template and data mapping configuration that are currently open, and the Job Creation Preset and Output Creation Preset that were last modified.
- Browse: This button opens the Select Files dialog that lets you add one or more templates, data mapping configurations, Print Presets, and/or package files to the list. When you select a package file, its contents will be sent to Workflow; the package file itself is not sent.
- Select Preset: Opens the Select Preset dialog. This dialog lists all Print Presets found in the folder:
C:\Users\[UserName]\Connect\workspace\configurations
. Where[username]
is replaced by the appropriate Windows user name. There are two ways to make it easier to find the file that you need:
- The Show drop-down list lets you select the type of preset that you want to open.
- In the Filter field, you can enter (part of) a preset name to filter the list for matching presets.
Actually, the path may not begin with 'C:\Users', as this is language-dependent. On a French system, for example, it would be 'C:\Utilisateurs'.Select one or more Print Presets to add them to the list of configurations in the Send to Workflow dialog.
Type%userprofile%
in a Windows File Explorer and press Enter to open the actual current user's home directory. - Delete: Deletes the selected file from the list of files to send.
- Server: Use the drop-down to select where to send the files. This lists the Connect Servers and any other servers configured in the preferences; see Connect Servers preferences and Web Applications preferences.
- Send: Sends all selected Connect files to the selected Connect Server. You can use the topmost checkbox to select all of the listed files at once.
- Cancel: Click this button to close the dialog without sending any files.
