Medias

A Media is a resource that offers two features: Preprinted Media settings, and Media Intents. See Media Properties.

Preprinted Media

The Preprinted Media option is used when the output of a Printed Context is meant to be printed on paper that already has graphical and text elements on it (preprinted sheets). When using preprinted media, a front and back image must be specified, and those will be displayed as a background for the pages in the context's sections when the proper media is set for the selected position (see Sheet Configuration and Sections).

Media Intents

The Media Intents are used to define on which kind of paper media the output is meant to be printed on. This includes paper weight, quality, coating and finishing.
