Sections

Sections are part of Contexts, and they contain the main text flow for the contents, when generating output.

Print Sections

There can be multiple sections in each context and each of them is executed one after the other in sequence, for each Record.

Each section is composed of 4 different page "positions" (First, Middle, Last or Single) and for each of those positions, different Master Pages and Medias can be set and affect the way pages are displayed and output is generated. These options are set in the Sheet Configuration dialog.

Sections in the Print context have their own Finishing settings and these same options are also found at the Context level. This means that each section can have it's finishing option first and then the context options are applied (this is used for subset finishing).

Email Sections

In email output, only one section can be executed at a time. The Default section is always executed when the template is run using the Create Email Content task in Workflow.
